Medina Middle School opened in the fall of 2000 with 243 students. Since then Medina has experienced tremendous growth. The school currently hosts grades 4-8 and with a student population quickly approaching 900!

To address population growth in the Medina area, plans are in progress to add 16 new classrooms here at MMS. The 3rd grade will leave Medina Elementary School and be housed at Medina Middle School. This will create the concept of two mini-schools. There will be an intermediate school with grades 3-5, and a middle school made up of grades 6-8. Both “schools” will be housed within the same building.  The building program is scheduled to be complete for the Fall of 2013.
