Medina Middle School is proud to announce their campaign to help make Medina a GREEN community by providing recycling containers at their school!  Located in the back parking lot of Medina Middle School, you will notice two trailers: the orange trailer is for paper goods, and the green trailer is for aluminum cans.  The trailers are open to the public 24 hours a day 7 days a week to make it convenient for you to drop off your recyclables! Please take time to gather these items in your household and/or your place of business and bring them to the recycle centers at Medina Middle School!

Interesting facts about recycling:

One aluminum can recycled can produce 3 hours of TV watching.

It takes six weeks to recycle aluminium cans into new cans.

There are over 80 trillion aluminum cans used every year.

We can save 250 million trees a year if we recycle all our paper goods.

40% of average dump is paper.

Each person uses about 680 pounds of paper each year.

Just with these few staggering statistics, it is obvious what a difference we can make to protect our planet for our children's future.  We hope to see you with your recyclables at Medina Middle School to support the students in their endeavor to keep Medina GREEN!
